Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

Carry out maintenance, dismantling, inspection, repair, and reassembly of rotating and static mechanical equipment, such as: Pumps (centrifugal and reciprocating) Compressors Gearboxes Turbine Mixture Fin-Fan ID FD Blowers and fans

  • Perform precision alignment of rotating equipment using dial indicators and laser alignment tools.
  • Conduct equipment inspection and troubleshooting to detect faults or wear.
  • Replace defective parts including seals, bearings, gaskets, shafts, couplings, and mechanical seals.
  • Follow technical drawings, isometrics, and job packages accurately.
  • Support mechanical scopes during shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency maintenance activities.
  • Work safely under SABICs permit-to-work system, including LOTO, confined space, and hot work procedures.
  • Coordinate with other teams (electrical, instrument, rigging) to execute integrated work packages.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly handled and maintained

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Technical Diploma or Industrial Certificate in Mechanical Maintenance or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in petrochemical, refinery, or heavy industrial plants.

Proven experience in shutdown or turnaround maintenance is essential.

Certifications (Preferred):

SABIC or Aramco Permit to Work Holder

OSHA or site-specific safety certifications

Basic Rigging & Lifting safety awareness (optional)
