Mechanical QC Engineer

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical QC Engineer to join our water plant project team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, field inspection experience, and client coordination skills to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

1. Eligibility Criteria:

· Age: Below 45 years

· Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B. Tech or equivalent)

· Experience: Minimum 7 years in mechanical quality control, preferably within water treatment or infrastructure projects

2. Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct site inspections for GRP piping installations, ensuring adherence to approved drawings and specifications

· Perform equipment-related inspections including pumps, valves, tanks as per Inspection test plan

· Manage and close punch list items, ensuring timely rectification and verification

· Review and validate ECC documentation, including ITRs, checklists, and red-line markups

· Coordinate with client QC/QA teams for document approvals, inspection scheduling, and compliance reporting.

3. Required Skills & Competencies:

· Strong understanding of GRP piping systems, installation tolerances, and inspection protocols

· Familiarity with mechanical equipment standards, vendor documentation, and FAT/SAT procedures

· Proficient in ECC workflows, punch list tracking & closing, and ECC handover documentation

· Excellent communication and coordination skills for client-facing interactions

· Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, ASME)

4. Location: Hassyan 180 MIGD water plant
