Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all mechanical equipment and machinery within the production facility.
Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical systems and equipment.
Develop and update maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
Lead troubleshooting efforts during equipment breakdowns and coordinate with external vendors when necessary.
Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Train and mentor junior maintenance staff, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing equipment efficiency and reducing operational costs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance engineering in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably within paper manufacturing.
Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical systems and machinery.
Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
Experience with installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during equipment failures.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in industrial maintenance.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to work on-site in a fast-paced production environment.
