Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and review mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications for projects.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (electrical, civil, etc.) to ensure integrated project execution.
- Perform technical calculations related to HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material take-offs for mechanical works.
- Review and approve shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Provide technical support to the construction team during project execution.
- Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of technical documents.
- Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to design specifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3 to 5 years of experience in the technical office of a construction or engineering.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
Familiarity with local and international codes and standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
