Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, review, and oversee the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in automotive service centers and showrooms.

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of all MEP systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate MEP systems into new construction and renovation projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HVAC, electrical distribution, water supply, drainage, and fire protection systems.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for MEP projects.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring timely completion within budget and adherence to quality standards.
  • Ensure all MEP installations comply with local codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to source quality materials and equipment for MEP works.
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff and facility managers.
  • Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications for future reference and compliance audits.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.

  • 3 to 7 years of proven experience in MEP engineering, preferably within commercial or automotive facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems design and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Egyptian building codes and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Willingness to work on-site (on-premises) as required.
