The Mechanical Design Engineer is required for a Construction and Commercial management company based in Dubai, and will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and coordinating mechanical systems for commercial and residential projects in compliance with local and international standards. A similar profile is also needed at India, Baroda.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in structural design and hands-on experience in conveyor systems for a Construction and Commercial Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical structures and supports for conveyor systems.
• Create and review detailed 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks/ Solid Box.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure structural integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation for manufacturing.
• Perform structural calculations and support FEA as needed.
• BOM for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, with an emphasis on HVAC, piping, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems integration within commercial/residential buildings.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and materials.

Experience

The ideal candidate should have 3 4 years of industry experience, along with proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD and Solid Box.

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3 4 years of experience in mechanical and structural design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Hands-on experience with conveyor systems is highly preferred.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to manufacturing or material handling environments.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards for structural and mechanical systems.
