Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose

To develop and maintain designs for TME systems. Create models and drawings to facilitate the design and manufacture of products, write technical specifications, and provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams.

Description

  • Recommend improvements to departmental policy and support in the implementation of procedures and controls
  • Facilitate implementing systems and procedures
  • Compliance with all Company policies is required, including adherence to Company ISO 9001 Standard and compliance with company Affirmative Action and Company Safety procedures
  • Incorporate the Standards of Excellence as outlined by TME (Pride, Desire, Teamwork, Attention to Detail, and Follow-through) into daily activities in order to create a Total Quality Environment
  • Draft engineering drawings and technical data sheets
  • Develop production manuals and technical criteria
  • Implement the service before sales
  • Design the products and develop all the drawings for the customized orders
  • Execute technical supports in the production lines
  • Provide the required service and technical service after sales
  • Develop and improve the technology of respective design
  • Research and develop the materials for productions
  • Deliver and apply new technology to the products
  • Assist other essential/required supports
  • Provide support to Applications Team in technical aspects of offer and documentation
  • Sketch and draft the drawings to take the required data at site during field visit
  • Conduct analysis of the measurement for troubleshooting
  • Estimate design/manufacturing cost for sales quotations
  • Provide the training/monitoring materials for the seminars or training courses
  • Communicate with parent companies (i.e. HMP/TWMC) to update technical data sheets and technical plans
  • Identify areas of improvement in his/her subordinates (if any) and ensure their continuous growth
  • Coach and provide formal and informal positive constructive feedback to ensure that work is carried in an efficient manner
  • Recommend training needed to bridge the staff skill gap
  • Coordinate with other department pertaining solutions which are beneficial for the improvement of the entire Company
  • Perform other job-related projects and/or assignments that he/she might be asked to do by his/her direct supervisor/manager for special assistance that is often not mentioned in this job description as they arise under specific circumstances

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
