Mechanical / Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components according to project specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify design solutions and improvements.
• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
• Conduct finite element analysis and other simulations to validate designs.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in product testing and iterate designs based on test feedback.
• Manage project timelines and work to meet deadlines and milestones.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting throughout the product lifecycle.
• Prepare documentation for design processes and updates for engineering records.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless transition from design to production.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and efficiency.
• Present design concepts and project statuses to stakeholders and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and design standards.
• Experience with finite element analysis and simulation tools is preferred.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is essential.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
