Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer, you will report directly to the Head of Engineering and will be an integral part of our Engineering and production teams.

Design & Development: - Create and develop detailed 3D models and drawings for mechanical systems, components, and assemblies.
Perform design calculations (stress analysis, tolerance stack-up, DFMA, etc.) to ensure reliability and functionality.
Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for components and systems Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing, favourable terms, and timely delivery.

Understand project requirements, specifications, and constraints to deliver cost-effective and efficient design solutions.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant international standards, codes, and safety regulations.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and reports.
Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical drawings, and specifications for production.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, procurement, etc.) to ensure design compatibility and efficiency.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for technical support, component selection, feasibility, and compliance.
Provide technical support to production, assembly, and service teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautics engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in Design and Manufacturing [0 to 3 years] (fresh graduates may apply)br> Advanced knowledge in GD&T
Previous experience in 3D modelling and drafting using CAD software (CATIA, NX, )
Good understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processesbr> Basic programming or scripting knowledgebr> Foundational understanding of engineering and quality standards (e.g., ISO, ASME)br> Basic understanding of inspection methods and toolsbr> Excellent communication skills [ good knowledge of English is a MUST; knowledge of some other language is a plus]br> Technically agile with computers and software tools such as ERP systems, project management software, and MS office suite

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
