Roles & Responsibilities

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, heavy equipment, and other vehicles used in the oil and gas industry
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and make necessary repairs
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
  • Ensure all equipment is in compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
  • Keep up-to-date with industry developments and technological advancements in diesel and heavy equipment maintenance and repair

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanic, preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy equipment, and other vehicles used in the industry
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in the oil and gas industry
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Fluent in English,
