Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Vehicle Diagnostics & Repair: Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and EVs (if applicable).
- Quality Control & Supervision: Oversee technical work of junior and mid-level technicians to ensure service quality and compliance with OEM standards.
- Workshop Coordination: Assist in planning workflow, allocating tasks, and ensuring optimal utilization of tools and equipment.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues efficiently and safely.
- Training & Mentorship: Guide and train junior technicians in technical procedures, diagnostics, and service best practices.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Customer Support Assistance: Support service advisors in technical explanations and ensure customer satisfaction for complex repairs.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5–10 years in automotive diagnostics, repair, and service.
- Proven expertise with multiple vehicle systems (mechanical, electrical, electronic).
- Experience in dealership or OEM-approved service centers preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
Educational Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Certification in advanced automotive diagnostics or OEM-specific technical programs preferred.
- Continuous professional development in modern vehicle systems is desirable.
