Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Construct and repair structures using bricks, blocks, and stones, ensuring precision and durability in every project.
  • Mix and apply mortar and other materials, adjusting compositions for specific environments and structural requirements.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing structures, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, consistently maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in top condition, ensuring they are ready for use and prolonging their lifespan.
  • Perform site measurements and calculations, ensuring all materials and placements meet project standards and codes.
  • Install architectural features such as arches, pillars, and decorative stonework, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals, effectively communicating to ensure seamless integration of masonry work with other trades.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for candidates who have completed formal masonry training or apprenticeship programs.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in masonry work, showcasing a solid track record of diverse projects.
  • Experience working with various materials like brick, stone, and concrete, adapting techniques to different project needs.
  • Strong physical stamina and dexterity, capable of performing labor-intensive tasks safely and efficiently.
