Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Main Accountabilities
- Lead the development and execution of the marketing performance of Flour Mills products/portfolio s Mid-Term and long-term strategic plan in alignment with the global Company s strategy.
- Define strategic marketing plans, focus on OFM articulated products and services offerings, with key benefits and messages for use by sales and marketing.
- Work with consulting and sales to cultivate reference accounts for OFM brands products and services; Identify client success stories and work with marketing to create appropriate case studies and collateral.
- Define product premiums and value propositions to generate the targeted premiums.
- Achieve high credibility of brand and loyalty through customer support and continues effective communication to ensure the group realizes targets and profits set for the financial year.
- Develop marketing business plans including a budget, and financial KPIs to ensure the achievement of financial and strategic objectives.
- Report progress against the marketing business plans, opportunities, challenges and issues faced, mitigations taken and course correction actions, as required to make an informed decision.
- Monitor marketing financial performance against the approved budget to ensure alignment with set budget guidelines.
Campaigns & Communications
- Create compelling marketing campaigns using strategies to encourage OFM s clients to use the showcase to produce results,
- Develop group messaging for key marketing events and conferences
- Drive campaign management for client acquisition programs across multiple channels.
- Oversees the creation of content for corporate marketing collateral, website/blog/social media / and other initiatives
- Review the content of press releases, contributed articles, presentations, events and conferences
- Plan and manage formulation of overarching products and services campaigns.
- Prepare and submit the Marketing general objectives, communication planning implementation and campaigns budget
- Plan and implement campaign strategies for products and services, targets and initiatives y coordinating with end users and reviewing pipeline opportunities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Lead the planning, development, and implementation of local and international marketing objectives at OFM under the Chief Commercial Officer's scope as per the authority matrix, for the development of marketing strategies, planning, programs, branding, and campaign development for Oman Flour Mills products and its Corporate-Branding Communications, including those related to marketing programs. This involves: (1) The definition of those stratagems based on demand planning, articulated products and services offerings, with key benefits and messages for use by sales and marketing, (2) Alignment marketing innovation plans for all segments including the provision of new product development services, and (3) Lead the development and execution of Corporate Brand related tasks, foundation/initiatives, Brand, Internal and External Corporate Communications; in order to secure potential customer attraction, maximize the netback from customer & retain the existing ones while supporting the continuity, profitability and efficiency of the business./p>
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management or similar.
Experience
- +8 years of experience having specialized in a similar role for Global markets food industry, specialized in Flour and Feed Markets.
- Experience Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or consumer packaged goods products that sell quickly at competitive price.
- Experience of building effective relationships with public and private stakeholders.
- Experience of managing and developing marketing staff.
- Experience in Brand management, people relations, and Strategic communications.
