The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is Hong Kong s statutory body for promoting Hong Kong s trade with the world. Its Dubai office is inviting application for the following position:

Marketing Manager

The incumbent will be based in our Dubai office and will report to Regional Director, Middle East & Africa. He/she will assist in handling trade and service promotions, project assignments and related marketing activities as well as gathering market intelligence in the Middle East and African countries.

Major Responsibilities

• Provide market intelligence in the Middle East and African Countries relating to Hong Kong trade and business
• Organise promotion projects in the Middle East and African region.
• Promote HKTDC s services and major events in new and emerging markets in the region
• Assist in expanding and updating HKTDC databank particularly senior business and major buyers contacts in the region
• Identify and recruit business agents for recruiting visitors & exhibitor for HKTDC fairs
• Build a strong networking relation between HKTDC Dubai office & other Middle East and African business entities in UAE
• Organise and launch digital marketing campaigns to promote Hong Kong and HKTDC events.
• Provide analytical reporting for promotional campaigns.
• Manage social media accounts to increase traffic to HKTDC online platforms, generate sales leads, enhance brand awareness, increase organic reach, and widen business networks.

Job Requirem ents

• A recognised university degree with at least 8 years solid working experience, preferably with sizable organizations, in any of the following areas: trading; exhibition/event organisation; project management; digital marketing; public/corporate relations; or network/relationship building etc.
• Strong interests and understanding of Hong Kong economy, trade and business arena covering various Hong Kong industries, and markets and business opportunities for Hong Kong companies
• Fluent in written and spoken English & Arabic
• Knowing other languages is an advantage
• Willing to travel to new and emerging markets in the Middle East and Africa
• Self-motivated and outgoing with good project planning ability
• Innovative, flexible and be able to deliver under time and resource pressure
• A strong team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Mature with superior skills in marketing and communication
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
• Knowledge in Email Marketing, Content Writing, Lead Generation, & Website Analytics
• Good command over Google Ads, Analytics, Market Research, understand Digital marketing

Remuneration and Benefits
