Roles & Responsibilities

Domain 1: Portfolio Expansion

  • Provide Global Market Access input for portfolio decisions at the Innovation Board.
  • Assess product value by analyzing:
    • Unmet medical need and payer attractiveness.
    • Differentiation vs. alternatives.
    • Access dynamics and willingness-to-pay scenarios.
  • Deliverables include:
    • Formulary listing conditions.
    • Pricing assumptions (net selling price, WAC, end-customer price) and risk documentation.
    • Revenue timing assumptions based on country-specific P&R timelines.
    • Guidance on evidence needs and customer research requirements.

Domain 2: Global Product Launch

  • Co-develop global market access and pricing strategy with relevant directors.
  • Project manage HEOR evidence development for reimbursement and value capture.
  • Define global pricing guidance and develop collateral for country teams.
  • Monitor and update pricing/revenue assumptions; escalate deviations.
  • Educate NPI teams on market access monitoring and escalation protocols.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support strategic initiatives such as:
    • Launch toolkits and portfolio strategy.
    • Country-level market access organization development.
    • Data analytics tool (DART) enhancement.
    • Maintain and audit country system information.
    • Educate EPD global teams on market access and pricing trends.

Desired Candidate Profile

6+ years in pharmaceutical market access & pricing consulting or 7+ years in innovative pharma (market access or related functions: BD, Marketing, Medical).Strong knowledge of payer relations, pricing, health economics, and policy.Proven success in market access, strategic planning, and portfolio evaluation.Experience across diverse market archetypes (reimbursed to cash-pay).Expertise in biologics/biosimilars access, pricing, HEOR, and institutional/tender business; ability to translate global strategy into local execution.Background in matrix organizations and emerging markets (BRIC, SE Asia, LATAM, MENA).Strategic consultancy experience preferred.Track record in cross-country pricing alignment, approvals, and biologics/biosimilars launches.
