Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures for marine engineering works, especially quay wall and cast-in-situ concrete structures. • Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documents to ensure compliance with industry and project standards. • Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, and site activities to verify conformance to quality and safety requirements. • Supervise and monitor QA/QC activities related to rock works, concreting, and other marine construction processes throughout the project lifecycle. • Prepare and submit QA/QC-related documentation and reports to management, consultants, and clients in a timely manner. • Ensure that all QA/QC activities align with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards and comply with maritime regulations. • Identify, report, and manage quality issues; implement corrective and preventive actions where necessary to maintain high standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field. • 2–5 years of proven experience in marine construction, with specific involvement in revetments, breakwaters, quay walls, and cast-in-situ concrete works. • Strong understanding of inspection methods, construction standards, quality control techniques, and documentation protocols. • Familiarity with QA/QC tools and relevant software for reporting and analysis. • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and safety-critical environment.
