Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Marine Mechanic to handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhauling of marine and industrial equipment. The candidate should have hands-on expertise with high-speed and medium-speed diesel engines, propulsion systems, hydraulics, and other marine machinery.

• Carry out routine overhauling, troubleshooting, and repair of high-speed & medium-speed diesel engines.

• Overhaul and repair all types of marine and industrial pumps.

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems including motors, valves, and control circuits.

• Overhaul and repair propulsion systems (shafts, gearboxes, propellers, couplings).

• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting for control systems.

• Overhaul hydraulic motors and cylinders.

• Service and repair marine equipment such as winches, windlass, and deck machinery.

• Prepare detailed maintenance and repair reports and ensure timely communication to supervisors.


Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong hands-on experience in marine diesel engine maintenance.

• Knowledge of marine hydraulics and propulsion systems.

• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, drawings, and service reports.

• Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently as well as in a team.

• Good communication and reporting skills.
