Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in implementing and maintaining effective HSE practices across all marine construction operations.

  • Represent the company in HSE matters with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

  • Develop and implement HSE Management Systems in line with industry standards and legal requirements.

  • Prepare project-specific HSE Plans, Risk Assessments, Emergency Response Procedures, and Method Statements.

  • Conduct incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques and implement corrective/preventive measures.

  • Identify workplace hazards and establish appropriate control measures.

  • Promote a positive safety culture through behavioral-based safety programs and employee engagement.

  • Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to project personnel as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a relevant HSE discipline.

  • NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent recognized HSE certification.

  • Minimum 2 years of HSE experience in the marine construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislative requirements, industry standards, and risk management practices.

  • Proven ability to lead HSE initiatives and influence safe behavior in high-risk environments.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
