About the Role
The Warehouse Manager (Head of Supply Chain Operations) is responsible for overseeing and directing all warehouse and logistics functions across Nada Happiness Trading LLC’s four FMCG divisions. This includes managing inbound and outbound operations, inventory control, transportation, and production warehousing under Jafian.
The role ensures smooth coordination between suppliers, warehouse teams, logistics partners, and internal departments while upholding the highest standards of efficiency, accuracy, and safety. The Warehouse Manager also plays a key role in minimizing shrinkage and damages, optimizing space utilization, and ensuring compliance with import and customs regulations for goods received from various countries.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Strategic Warehouse Operations Management
· Plan, organize, and oversee all warehouse operations across Wholesale, Retail, Confectionery, Consumer, and Jafian divisions.
· Ensure efficient receiving, storage, picking, checking, packing, and dispatch activities.
· Implement continuous improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and optimize layout and workflow.
Leadership & Team Management
· Lead, supervise, and motivate a multi-division warehouse team including supervisors, executives, forklift operators, and helpers.
· Set performance KPIs, monitor daily operations, and ensure accountability.
· Provide training, guidance, and development opportunities to enhance team capability and safety awareness.
Inbound & International Receiving Operations
· Manage the receipt of imported goods from various countries, ensuring compliance with customs, documentation, and company procedures.
· Coordinate with procurement, shipping, and clearing agents for timely inbound deliveries.
· Inspect all incoming goods for quantity, quality, and packaging integrity before storage.
Inventory Control & Shrinkage Management
· Maintain inventory accuracy through systematic cycle counts and reconciliations.
· Implement strict controls to minimize shrinkage, pilferage, and product loss.
· Investigate stock variances and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
· Ensure real-time and accurate data entry in ERP/WMS systems.
Damage Control & Product Quality
· Monitor product handling to minimize damages and ensure FMCG quality standards.
· Segregate, record, and report damaged or expired goods for claim or disposal.
· Coordinate with suppliers for replacement or damage claims when necessary.
Transportation & Fleet Management
· Oversee the transportation team, including company trucks, delivery vehicles, and drivers.
· Plan and optimize delivery schedules and routes to maximize efficiency.
· Ensure all vehicles are maintained, licensed, and documented as per company and regulatory requirements.
· Monitor fuel usage, cost, and vehicle utilization efficiency.
Equipment & Machinery Maintenance
· Take full responsibility for the upkeep, performance, and servicing of all warehouse and production-related equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, and Jafian roastery or production machines.
· Maintain detailed service records, maintenance logs, and warranty documentation for all equipment.
· Coordinate with maintenance vendors for timely servicing, calibration, and preventive maintenance schedules.
· Ensure all machinery is operated safely, inspected regularly, and complies with safety standards.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
· Ensure adherence to company SOPs, health, safety, and hygiene standards (including HACCP/GMP guidelines).
· Conduct routine safety inspections and toolbox meetings.
· Promote a culture of zero incidents through awareness, discipline, and accountability.
Production & Roastery Warehouse Oversight (Jafian Division)
· Coordinate with the production unit for raw material receipts, finished goods storage, and dispatch scheduling.
· Ensure proper linkage between production timelines and warehouse distribution plans.
Reporting & Cost Control
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse performance, transport efficiency, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
· Identify cost-saving measures and process optimization opportunities.
· Assist senior management in strategic decisions related to warehouse automation, infrastructure, and expansion.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
· MBA or Postgraduate Diploma in Logistics or Operations Management (preferred).
· 7–1 years of progressive experience in warehouse and logistics operations within the FMCG sector.
· Minimum 3 years in a leadership or multi-division management role.
· Knowledge of import logistics, customs clearance, and international receiving procedures.
· Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and MS Office applications.
· Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
· Ability to lead diverse teams and manage large-scale warehouse operations efficiently.
