Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the Country People Operations team delivering HR services to the country
Work closely with the specialist group functions to develop rewards, talent management, L&D and culture initiatives in your country and globally.
Guide the business and the team on continual innovation and transformation, constantly exploring how the people function can further develop to support and sustain the business' significant growth
Work closely with the business to ensure the people organisation remains a true commercial, value add partner
Work with the Talent Acquisition team to pipeline talent and build out a succession plan in line with the needs of the business and designing, implementing, and overseeing a robust performance management process
Develop strategic relationships across the business to assist in the development of the company s short- and long-term HR objectives and developing a clearly defined culture and employer brand within the organisation
Nurture a positive working environment and contribute to the global people engagement strategy to build an exceptional working culture at Tap Payments
Support the global talent acquisition team establish an effective workforce planning and talent acquisition process that meets the fluctuating needs of the organization
Support rewards to develop and implement a highly competitive total rewards policy, including but not limited to total compensation initiatives and benchmarking, KPI performance management initiatives, sales incentive development and administration and other relevant initiatives to keep in line with local Labour Law
Support the country leadership teams to deliver periodic performance management reviews, performance coaching and career development.
Drive performance within the business to support Tap Payments achieve its business and community goals through objective coaching and development plan setting.
Be a champion of Tap s culture and a brand ambassador in articulating the Company s employer value proposition to prospective and current employees.
Ensure compliance with all Labour law, working closely with compliance leadership to ensure all data is housed correctly, all employment laws and regulations are exceeded.
Own the HR Policy and Handbook development
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Build out a plan to grow and equip Human Resources to support growing Tap s Human Capital needs
Carry out other duties, as assigned based on the demands of the business and growth of the role
What you will bring to the party:
- 6-8 years of role specific experience with industry leading knowledge of your function
- An in depth knowledge of the Fintech industry with an understanding of Payments
- You've begun to make a name for yourself as an industry or department leader
- A customer first approach to everything, persistent and driving for perfection
- Humility, our managers are doers and drivers, they demonstrate through execution and lead by example
- The ability to notice problems and creates solutions, thinking quickly to solve complex challenges
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to engage in detailed discussions with internal & external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills in English & Arabic, is preferred
- A degree is preferred, but sometimes the University of Life works just fine
