Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Champion Ma aden s safety and environmental values and ensure teams compliance with all safety requirements.

Embed structured workflows for grade control, dilution monitoring, blending, and stockpile management.

Oversee the daily/weekly reconciliation process, ensuring data is timely, accurate, and actionable.

Drive accountability within geology teams by clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and ownership.

Coordinate with superintendents for open-pit and underground operations to align execution with geology and planning.

Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation process (mine vs. plant vs. stockpiles).

Design, budget, and manage RC grade control operations.

Mentor and coach geologists and engineers toward Competent Person (CP) accreditation under JORC and Ma aden frameworks.

Collaborate with other departments, technical teams, and external stakeholders.

Build a culture of operational discipline, ownership, and technical excellence across the MM geology team.

Ensure integrity of geological, drillhole, and assay databases in collaboration with the Database Management team.

Identify risks in estimation, reconciliation, and reporting; develop mitigation and corrective action plans.

Ensure all R&R submissions are audit-ready with full documentation and compliance trails.

Skills:

Strong operational discipline and ability to enforce Management Operating Systems (MOS).

Expertise in Mine geology operations, Mineral Resource estimation, grade control, and reconciliation.

Proficiency in fleet Hexagon fleet management system (FMS)

Proficiency in mine planning and geological software (Surpac, Leapfrog, MinePlan, Acquire).

Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.

Excellent communication and cross-functional alignment abilities.


Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Reconciliation and grade control in large open-pit gold operations (refractory ore exposure preferred).
  • Experience in mine-to-mill reconciliation workflows and business planning integration.

Minimum Experience:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Mine Geology Operations, mineral Resource estimation, reconciliation, and reporting within large-scale gold operations, preferably with both open-pit and underground exposure.
