Roles & Responsibilities

The strong>Manager Arrival and Departure Airports/strong> will support the Senior Manager in managing all transport services related to the arrival and departure of guests, employees, and stakeholders to and from airports served by the AMAALA project./p> <

This role focuses on ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient transportation during high-traffic periods, contributing to the seamless guest experience that AMAALA strives for./p> <

The Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring transport schedules, managing service providers, and overseeing the transport team./p> <

The role will also include proactive identification and implementation of improvements to elevate service delivery and operational efficiency./p> <

The jobholder s responsibility is to plan and provide safe and reliable transportation services to all Guest and employees/stakeholders to ensure safe journeys with minimal delays./p> <

The role requires constant management of maintenance of the fleet (in collaboration with the Maintenance team) as recommended by manufacturers, thereby ensuring effective & efficient functioning of the department and a positive guest experience due to upkeep of the fleet./p> <

Job Responsibilities/p> <

  • strong>Manage and Monitor Airport Transport Operations/strong>
    • Oversee the daily operations of transportation services between airport terminals and Triple Bay / AMAALA Staff Village./li>
    • Monitor schedules for arrivals and departures, ensuring no gaps or delays in transport availability./li>
    • Ensure the transport services meet the agreed standards for safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction./li>
  • strong>Service Coordination/strong>
    • Address any non-performance issues or operational challenges and ensure corrective actions are implemented swiftly./li>
  • strong>Team Leadership & Coordination/strong>
    • Lead a team of transport coordinators, drivers, and support staff to ensure smooth operations during arrivals and departures./li>
    • Manage team scheduling, performance reviews, and ensure staff are well-trained and equipped to deliver a high standard of service./li>
  • strong>Guest Experience Management/strong>
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all transport-related inquiries and complaints from internal and external stakeholders./li>
    • Respond promptly to feedback, resolving any issues to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction./li>
  • strong>Operational Improvement Initiatives/strong>
    • Proactively review and analyze existing transport operations to identify opportunities for improved efficiency or cost-effectiveness./li>
    • Implement new systems to enhance the guest experience and streamline operations./li>
  • strong>Risk and Safety Management/strong>
    • Ensure all transport services are in compliance with safety regulations and company policies./li>
    • Report and investigate any incidents or accidents involving transport services, taking necessary corrective actions and ensuring stakeholders are kept informed./li>
  • strong>Reporting & Data Management/strong> /li>
    • Compile regular reports on transport performance, including ridership data, incident reports, and feedback analysis./li>
    • Provide insights to senior management regarding trends, operational challenges, and recommendations for service enhancements./li>


Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification and Experience/p>

  • A bachelor s degree or equivalent qualification./li>
  • At least 6 years industry experience and proven expertise in the automotive or transportation industry/li>
  • Experience of managing A&D Airport functions in a large and fast paced environment/li>

Skills/p>

  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a quick moving and change oriented environment/li>
  • Must be able to multi-tasking in a fast pace, high volume, environment/li>
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs with a minimum of intermediate skills in Word, Excel and Outlook (skill level will be tested)/li>
  • Able to work in a highly collaborative environment with independence/li>
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate based on needs of VIP chauffeur driver./li>
  • Strong customer service orientation. High energy and passion for interaction with people/li>
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and time-management skills/li>
  • Demonstrated experience/maturity to handle confidential and sensitive information./li>
  • Possess a positive, service-oriented attitude with excellent follow through on issues/li>
