Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, ensuring dignity and comfort while maintaining cleanliness.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, catering to specific dietary needs and preferences.
- Administer medications as prescribed, meticulously following dosage instructions and schedules.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safe and comfortable movement within the home.
- Manage household tasks like light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space.
- Accompany the individual to appointments, outings, and social events, offering support and assistance.
- Monitor vital signs and report any health changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement, promoting a sense of well-being and independence.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including medication logs and observations.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Holds a diploma in nursing or a certificate in basic caregiving.
· -Fluent in English.
· -Minimum three years’ experience in attending to elderly patients.
