Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prolong the lifespan of machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing malfunctions as they arise.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and coordinate with management for updates.
• Install new equipment and systems as per technical specifications and safety guidelines.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests with urgency and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and order parts as necessary.
• Train and guide junior technicians and staff on maintenance procedures.
• Perform tests on equipment to ensure functionality and reliability before operational use.
• Update technical documentation and maintenance logs regularly for accurate records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role is required.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Strong communication skills to interact with team members and management.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as necessary.
