At Eni, we are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical) within the Zubair Field Operating Division in Basra, Iraq. You will be responsible for supervising and overseeing preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance activities in the field, ensuring compliance with reference standards, policies and procedures. You will coordinate with the production team to guarantee the prompt, safe and environmentally respectful execution of all maintenance activities.

Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).

Main responsibilities:

  • Supervise in-house contractors and vendors to ensure the safe and efficient execution of mechanical tasks.
  • Develop and update maintenance plans and schedules to minimize production disruptions.
  • Analyse equipment performance to identify issues and propose improvements.
  • Ensure maintenance plans meet engineering standards and comply with regulations.
  • Prepare maintenance documentation, including checklists and risk assessments.
  • Achieve maintenance KPIs and support technician training and development.
  • Manage manpower, including overtime and emergency planning.
  • Oversee spare parts and warehouse activities, including stock management and ordering.
  • Demonstrate personal engagement in the HSE domain while respecting policies and recommendations of Eni and ZFOD rules, standards and procedures, and possess knowledge of mechanical security rules and legislation.

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum Diploma in a Mechanical Engineering-related field.
  • Extensive of Operations & Maintenance experience in the petroleum industry, including production operations with knowledge of plant inspection, static and rotating equipment, mechanical components, and plant commissioning.
  • Should include relevant experience in a supervisory role as a Rotating/Static Mechanical Equipment Supervisor.
  • Fluent in English.
