Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Intertrade, Egypt s leading manufacturer of PVC gaskets, is seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Section Head to oversee the performance and reliability of our production equipment and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, hands-on, and capable of leading a team of maintenance technicians while ensuring smooth and efficient operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the maintenance team to ensure equipment uptime and reliability.
- Lead troubleshooting and repair activities for mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve maintenance KPIs (e.g., MTBF, MTTR, OEE).
- Oversee daily maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.
- Coordinate technical projects and support production teams in optimizing machine performance.
- Ensure full compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and spare parts usage.
- Recommend improvements in machinery performance, maintenance methods, and tools.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in PVC extrusion and PVC Compounding or similar manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience with mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience supervising maintenance teams or technicians.
- Familiar with maintenance KPIs and CMMS systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
