Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all maintenance operations for production equipment, utilities, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and lifespan.
- Manage and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Establish and manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
- Evaluate and recommend upgrades, replacements, or new technologies to improve plant reliability and efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial maintenance management, preferably within the food manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems used in industrial plants.
- Experience in developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and optimize maintenance costs.
- Familiarity with safety, health, and environmental regulations relevant to industrial operations.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite and respond to emergencies outside regular working hours if needed.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office applications.
