Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a proactive maintenance strategy that minimizes downtime and maximizes equipment life.
  • Oversee the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while adhering to financial constraints and safety regulations.
  • Lead a skilled team of technicians, providing mentorship and training to enhance their technical expertise and performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of all equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production processes.
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor equipment performance and predict maintenance needs, reducing unexpected failures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance practices and reduce operational costs.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology to integrate innovative solutions into maintenance operations.
  • Foster a culture of safety by enforcing protocols, conducting training, and promoting awareness among all maintenance staff.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field, with a focus on mechanical or electrical disciplines.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful maintenance programs that align with organizational objectives.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Certifications such as Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) or Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) are highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance management software and technologies, with experience in CMMS platforms.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of maintenance professionals.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing complex mechanical issues swiftly.
  • Fluency in English is a must; additional language skills, particularly in Spanish or Mandarin, are a plus.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration and transparency.
