Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform regular inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to ensure machinery and production equipment operate efficiently and reliably.

  • Diagnose and repair issues in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Program monitor, and troubleshoot PLC and automation systems to ensure stable and accurate machine operation.
  • Recommend and implement technical improvements and system upgrades to enhance reliability, efficiency, and energy performance.
  • Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules aligned with production priorities and equipment condition.
  • Maintain and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring critical components are available for immediate repair needs.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities and equipment comply with ISO 9001 quality standards, safety regulations, and industry codes.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance actions, repairs, PLC modifications, and machine performance using CMMS or equivalent systems.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to coordinate maintenance work and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring breakdowns and implement permanent corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for specialized repairs, spare parts procurement, and technical support.
  • Train and support junior maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and safety practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s Degree in Electromechanical Engineering.

  • 4+ years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems (valves, pumps, actuators, compressors).
  • Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
  • Solid understanding of ISO 9001 standards and their application in maintenance and production environments.
  • Experience using CMMS software for planning, reporting, and spare parts management.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
  • Commitment to staying updated on new technologies in automation, control systems, and smart manufacturing
