Maintenance Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive instructions from Maintenance Unit Head/Manager related to handling and following up on specific projects and prepare projects plans accordingly.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Unit Head/Manager regarding projects resourcing to ensure adequate resources allocation for project execution.
• Coordinate with Store concerning any delays in delivery of critical Parts and update Maintenance Management accordingly.
• Assist Maintenance team in troubleshooting breakdowns and carrying-out specific Scheduled and Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks, upon need.
• Prepare specific projects design (notably related to machine parts electrical or mechanical upgrade) and relay them to Maintenance Management for review and approval and carry-out/follow-up on the execution accordingly.
• Analyze Maintenance Data (notably related to repetitive breakdowns, delays in PM, spare parts consumption .) and propose action plan to Maintenance Management.
• Carry-out outsourced Maintenance Calibration tasks based on Maintenance Unit Head instructions, notably in terms of communicating with Local Purchasing Unit (LPC) on due dates for calibration to avail external calibrating agencies on-time, overseeing the external calibration tasks, following up on Calibration Certificate issuance and updating Calibration Master file accordingly.
• Assume 5S duties according to the set 5S plan to enhance working condition.

• Education & Experience

High Reading, Writing and Arithmetic skills required. This is preferably acquired through a university degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Special Working Conditions:

• Good physical condition, ability to work under high stress environment and multitask dimensions.
• Ability to work alternating shifts.
