Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of heavy construction equipment, including both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Develop and execute maintenance schedules in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure seamless equipment performance and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safe work practices.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and systems.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operators.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for technical support and procurement of spare parts.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance engineering, preferably within the heavy equipment or construction machinery sector.
- Drive License is a MUST
- Strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical maintenance principles and practices.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment issues efficiently.
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in industrial environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and diagnostic tools.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid (on-site and remote) arrangement as required.
