Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality teaching to students at postgraduate level
- Identify best and innovative practices in learning and teaching and build them into personal teaching practice
- Ensure that personal research, knowledge and/or experience of the field inform personal teaching practice
- Contribute actively to initiatives which identify new and best practice in teaching and learning and promote it across the faculty and institution
- Enhance student experience and outcomes
- Provide academic advice and counselling
- Liaise closely with teaching, technical and administrative staff as appropriate to ensure a quality teaching and learning environment.
- Ability to teach one or more of the following subjects:
- Global Governance for Sustainable Development
- Migration: Debates and Governance
- Cities and Sustainable Development
- Sustainable Development and Human Rights
- High level of written, oral and interpersonal skills
- Ability to teach more than one of the above subject
- Publication record supporting competence in any of the above mentioned fields.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Ability to teach one or more of the following subjects:
- Global Governance for Sustainable Development
- Migration: Debates and Governance
- Cities and Sustainable Development
- Sustainable Development and Human Rights
- Excellent academic qualifications in the fields of governance, sustainability, politics, international relations or any other field demonstrating exposure to and knowledge of the aforementioned subjects.
- Evidence of competence in the fields through teaching and/or practice
