Key Responsibilities
- Patrol hotel areas to maintain safety and security across the property
- Secure rooms and assist guests with room access when required
- Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and access controls
- Conduct emergency response drills, safety inspections, investigations, and audits
- Authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas
- Respond to incidents, accidents, and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when needed
- Gather information, prepare incident reports, and maintain confidentiality of records
- De-escalate disturbances and resolve safety hazards in line with company procedures
- Escort unauthorized or unwelcome individuals from the property when necessary
- Ensure compliance with alcohol control laws and internal security policies
- Support management by assisting with training, coaching, and motivating team members
- Serve as a role model and first point of contact for fair treatment and open-door processes
- Handle guest and employee complaints professionally and promptly
- Use proper code responses and communication protocols during incidents
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent
At least two years of experience in security, loss prevention, or related roles
Minimum one year of supervisory experience preferred
Physically fit to patrol, respond quickly, and handle lifting and movement tasks
Calm, alert, and confident in guest-facing and emergency situations
