Logistics Project Coordinator

Manage project logistics for customers within the mining, renewables, and industrial segments.

Participate in status meetings with key account customers, providing updates on project milestones, challenges, and solutions to country managers, logistics managers, and vertical managers depending on location and type of project.

Design transport solutions to meet project requirements in terms of transit time, budget, and quality standards.

Coordinate with 3rd party logistics providers globally and approved vendors in Africa.

Oversee and supervise transport and logistics solutions worldwide, including out-of-gauge transport, vessel cargo handling, and coordination between stakeholders (shippers and receivers).

Prepare internal and external reports on shipping progress, KPIs, and milestones.

Verify shipping and cargo documentation prior to dispatch.

Conduct on-site cargo inspections and supervision as required.

Carry out specific project-related route surveys.

Prepare cost verifications and submit for invoicing.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English.

Independent, with the ability to schedule and prioritise work effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.

Attention to detail.

French or Portuguese language skills would be an advantage but are not required.
