Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

· Arranging quotes from freight forwarder as per the market standard.

· Coordinating with Supplier, Supplier Agent and Internal Stake holder| Intercompany to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments like Booking of container| Amending the booking etc as per requirement.

· Respond to Supplier, Supplier Agent and Internal Stake holder | Intercompany queries regarding shipment.

· Making special shipping arrangement for Consolidated cargoes | Haz cargo | Reefer Container.

· Tracking of containers from dispatch to arrival and fix shipping errors as and when occurred.

· Preparing and checking of shipping documents like – Invoice | Packing List, Draft BL, SI submission.

· Identifying and resolving issues related to shipping and logistics.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance.

· Handling operations of Standard container | High cube container| Flat track containers.

· Handling End to end operations from Exw to DDU.

· Experience in container allocation management | West African counties import specific requirement | Understanding common obstacle of logistics and its effective solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Bachelor’s degree with hands on experience of logistics or supply chain management.

· Minimum 8 years of proven work experience in Import & export management with proficiency in Logistics procedures and policies. Haz experience is desirable.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Well versed with logistics process of Trading company, can handle operations of both export and Import.

· Attention to detail with highest accuracy and handle multiple shipment at one go.

· Should have experience of handling at-least 300+ container operations monthly.

· Proficient in Incoterms |Warehouse management | Logistics Operations |MS Excel| MS Word.

· Directly work with liner on yearly contract is an additional advantage.
