About Us:
We are the regional office of a well-established European electrical manufacturing group with a strong footprint across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Our team manages regional sales, project execution, and logistics for major infrastructure, industrial, and energy projects. To support our expanding operations, we are looking for a skilled and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our Dubai team.
Position Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing international shipments while aligning inventory and delivery schedules with project timelines. The role demands strong planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently with internal teams, freight partners, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage international and domestic shipments (air, sea, and land) across the AMEA region
- Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation (invoice, packing list, COO, BL/AWB, SABER, etc.)
- Forecast and plan incoming shipments to align with delivery commitments and warehouse capacity
- Coordinate just-in-time deliveries while ensuring minimal inventory and efficient stock turnover
- Organize dispatches to customers based on project schedules and sales orders
- Collaborate with the procurement team by sharing updated logistics and delivery forecasts
- Track all shipments and resolve any delays or issues proactively
- Ensure documentation is archived, and support with insurance claims and freight billing
- Support weekly and monthly invoicing targets by aligning logistics priorities accordingly
- Be available outside of standard hours or on weekends if needed to arrange urgent deliveries
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5–10 years of proven experience in international logistics coordination, preferably in an industrial or B2B setting
- Strong understanding of GCC customs regulations, Incoterms, and international trade documentation
- Excellent planning, forecasting, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ERP experience is an advantage
- Smart, dynamic, efficient, and proactive in problem-solving
- Friendly communicator with a positive attitude; multilingual preferred
- Independent and reliable, with a strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile
