Logistics Coordinator

Including but not limited to:

• coordination and handling of transport requests or consignments by sea, air, and land haulage
• request and evaluate offers and confirmation of original inquiries
• monitoring the transportation progress on order to meet client needs efficiently
• preparation and provision of all required import/export documents
• administrating the business software with all topical transport data like cost, time, weight, etc.
• verification of transport service providers and market monitoring concerning changes in availability and new supply sources
• Supply with materials and services along all business lines
• Efficient order-fulfillment by the aligned utilization of purchasing-, warehouse- and transport actives with all external and internal resources
• Optimized management of Assets along all business line.
• Meet all external and internal health and safety requirements with employees travelling as well as with the storage and transport of materials.
• Maintain network of internal and external stakeholders in order to optimize the overall Company supply- and value chain
  
  

What you will bring

• Excellent English and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in managing Logistics/Supply chain in many aspects, including Inventory, Procurement, and Shipments.
• Experience in Import & Export documentation process JAFZA experience added advantage.
• Experience in Bill of Entry and Exit thorough Dubai Trade website.
• Experience in Document control and storage.
• Experience in dealing freight forwarding companies.
• IATA certified for DG handling.
• JAFZA approved courses added advantage.
• Oil & Gas company experience as an advantage.
