Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Logistics Coordinator will play a dual role of Sales & Tender Coordinator, primarily supporting road freight operations. This role is critical in driving customer engagement, tender management, inside sales support, and process coordination. The position ensures timely submissions of tenders and quotations, smooth coordination between internal teams, accurate pricing, and a strong customer focus — all aimed at contributing to the company’s growth, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction in the freight forwarding sector.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Sales Coordination:
· Support sales team in identifying and following up on new opportunities.
· Act as the focal contact point for assigned customers.
· Prepare and send quotations; follow up to maximize booking conversions.
· Generate new leads and contribute to building the business pipeline.
· Liaise with back-end teams (operations, documentation, finance) to ensure smooth process flow.
· Maintain updated records of customer interactions, leads, and submissions in CRM tools.
2. Tender Coordination:
· Develop and manage tender accounts effectively.
· Monitor tender platforms to identify opportunities and ensure timely submissions.
· Collect and verify all required data and documents before submission deadlines.
· Oversee the complete lifecycle of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, ensuring compliance with customer and company requirements.
· Work with HODs and pricing teams to conduct price analysis and prepare competitive bids (global, local & online).
· Track tender updates and outcomes; regularly update rate cards and pricing database.
· Strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers through effective tender engagement.

Education and Experience
Ø Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
Ø 2–4 years of relevant experience in logistics coordination, preferably in road freight or freight forwarding.
Ø Prior exposure to tender coordination, sales support, or customer service roles.
Ø Familiarity with tender platforms, CRM tools, and logistics documentation processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Ø Highly organized and proactive, able to handle multiple tenders, quotations, and customer requests simultaneously.
Ø Demonstrates operational excellence by ensuring compliance with company policies, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Ø Keeps updated on market dynamics (rates, competitor activity, seasonal capacity).
Ø Acts as a trusted advisor by tailoring logistics solutions to customer needs.
Ø Maintains a strong sales mindset — focused on lead generation, conversions, and repeat business.
Ø Proficient with CRM systems, tender portals, and data analytics tools to track performance and outcomes.
Ø Flexible and resilient in handling urgent requirements, last-minute changes, and rejections.
Ø Maintains a positive, solution-oriented approach, ensuring both customer satisfaction and internal alignment.
