Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to support day-to-day logistics operations including local customs clearance and coordination through the Dubai Trade Portal.


The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of supply chain processes, UAE customs regulations, and must hold a valid UAE driving license for occasional deliveries or site visits.


Key Responsibilities:


Coordinate and track incoming and outgoing shipments.


Handle local customs clearance procedures in compliance with UAE regulations.


Prepare and process documentation using the Dubai Trade Portal, including:


· Bill of Entry

· Delivery Order

· Duty payments


Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port authorities.


Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documents, and inventory.


Assist with delivery schedules and logistics planning.


Drive company vehicle for delivery or collection of goods as required.


Support warehouse operations, including loading/unloading and inventory checks.

Desired Candidate Profile

High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.


Proven experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in the UAE.


Strong knowledge of UAE local clearance procedures and documentation.

Hands-on experience using the Dubai Trade Portal is mandatory.


Valid UAE driving license (light vehicle).


Proficient in MS Office and logistics software.


Excellent organizational and communication skills.


Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
