Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards related to logistics operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage relationships with logistics service providers and negotiate contracts and pricing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics management.
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management.
