Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Optimize fleet routes and schedules to minimize transportation costs and delivery times, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and maintenance schedules, proactively addressing issues to prevent downtime and maintain fleet availability.
  • Manage driver performance, including monitoring hours of service, addressing violations, and providing necessary training and support.
  • Oversee fuel consumption and implement strategies to reduce fuel costs, such as driver training and route optimization.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required to understand the fundamentals.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fleet operations or transportation management, demonstrating practical experience.
  • Proven experience in managing a fleet of vehicles, including maintenance, repairs, and driver management.
  • Strong understanding of transportation regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to legal standards.
