Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Represent the company in court proceedings, hearings, and settlement negotiations related to microfinance operations.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct legal research to support litigation strategies and ensure compliance with Egyptian laws and regulations.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on litigation risks, case developments, and potential legal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with external counsel and coordinate with regulatory authorities as required.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate case files, documentation, and case status reports.
  • Assist in developing and implementing litigation policies and procedures.
  • Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions in the best interest of the company.
  • Monitor changes in relevant legislation and assess their impact on ongoing and future litigation.
  • Support the legal team in other tasks as needed, including contract review and compliance matters.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Law from an accredited university.
  • Licensed to practice law in Egypt.
  • 0-2 years of experience in litigation or a related legal field.
  • Strong understanding of Egyptian civil and commercial law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic; proficiency in English is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel as required for court appearances.
