Roles & Responsibilities

Core Technical Skills

  • Linux Administration:
    Strong proficiency in managing Linux servers.
    Installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • WebLogic Administration:
    Installation and configuration of Oracle WebLogic Server.
    Deployment and management of applications.
    Patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
  • JBoss Administration:
    Installation and configuration of JBoss EAP / WildFly.
    Application deployment and server management.
    Monitoring, troubleshooting, and applying patches.

Desired Candidate Profile

System Maintenance & Security

  • Patching & Upgrades: Regularly applying updates to ensure stability and security.
  • Vulnerability Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating system vulnerabilities.
  • System Hardening: Implementing security best practices to protect applications and servers.

General Administration Skills

  • Performance monitoring and tuning across Linux, WebLogic, and JBoss environments.
  • Troubleshooting system and application issues efficiently.
  • Backup and recovery planning.
  • Documentation and adherence to IT policies and standards.
