Lighting Technician

We are seeking a skilled Lighting Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the event industry, particularly in weddings and other events. The successful candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of lighting equipment and the ability to operate independently. This role requires flexibility to work in various locations across the UAE and the willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage lighting equipment for a variety of events, with a focus on weddings.
• Set up and operate lighting systems independently.
• Troubleshoot lighting issues and manage DMX addresses effectively.
• Follow equipment lists to prepare and verify technical equipment before it leaves the warehouse.
• Collaborate with the event team to ensure lighting enhances the overall event experience.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the event industry, particularly working with lighting for events.
• In-depth knowledge of all lighting equipment and technologies.
• Ability to work independently and in a team to set up and operate lighting for events.
• Experience with Avolite Light Desk or Grand MA Light Desk is a significant advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of DMX addresses.
• Excellent organizational skills to follow equipment lists and prepare for events.
