The Light Driver plays an essential role in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of passengers, goods, or documents within specified areas. This position requires excellent driving skills, a solid understanding of road and traffic laws, and the ability to operate light vehicles such as cars, vans, or small trucks. The Light Driver must maintain the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the vehicle while ensuring the safety of passengers and goods. With a customer-focused approach, the Light Driver often engages directly with clients and must exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Operate a light vehicle safely following the designated route and schedule.
• Transport passengers, cargo, or documents efficiently to assigned destinations.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is always in a ready-to-drive condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company driving policies.
• Document travel expenses, mileage, and routes using company formats and procedures.
• Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management about route issues or delays.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing passengers needs courteously.
• Report any vehicle accidents or other incidents to the appropriate authorities immediately.
• Keep an accurate log of driving hours and kilometers driven daily.
• Participate in required trainings, meetings, and workshops as scheduled by management.

• Possess a valid driver's license appropriate for light vehicle operation.
• Demonstrated experience as a light driver in similar roles or industries.
• Strong knowledge of local road network, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Excellent time management skills and punctuality in all driving assignments.
• Clear communication abilities and good command of the local language.
• Strong customer service skills and professional interfacing with clients or passengers.
