Roles & Responsibilities

Position: Lifting Inspector's (Onshore contract)

Job Location: Mussafah, Abu Dhabi

Working Schedule: 5 days a week / 2 ay (OFF)  | 12 hours per day (Duty)

Salary Package: between AED 8,000/- AED 12,000/ all inclusive (depending in the experience & qualification)

Desired Candidate Profile

JOB ROLE:

• Ensure that adequate Pre trip inspections are being carried out on cargo carrying units / baskets etc

and allied lifting equipment for safe cargo lifting operation and to ensure that all cargo units are safe

to lift and seaworthy for sailing.

Ensure implementation of in-house lifting standards / code of practices and procedures at MOSB as

part of the lifting management strategy, document, and other approved Standards.

• Ensure that register of all company lifting equipment and lifting tackles & accessories are updated

with respect to certification, maintenance, colour codes etc

• Maintain relevant data and generate reports as and when required regarding inspection details,

statistics, and other related activities.

• Carryout inspection of Backloaded non-compliant Cargo from offshore Location. And provide safe

cargo handling solutions

• Ensure non routine cargo lifting operation are carried out in controlled manner with full compliance to

Adnoc HSE standards.

• Ensure by adequate inspection and carrying out necessary corrective action that all cargo units are

safe to lift and seaworthy for sailing

• Carryout necessary minor repair/ maintenance/ inspection of all types of lifting equipment related to

logistic operation.

• Carryout necessary activities with less direction/ supervision for maintaining all lifting equipment to

Adnoc L&S / international standards.

• Maintain relevant data and generate reports on daily basis regarding inspection details, movement &

release statistics and other such related activities in computer.

• Observe company safety rules and regulations in carrying at all assigned duties. Uses correct PPEs

and report to supervisor any unsafe conditions or practices. Participate /conduct safety firefighting

drills as assigned. Reports any accidents, damage, and equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to

supervisor immediately.

• Carries out all activities in accordance with the company's health, safety environment and quality

policies.

To carry out all types of assignment call basis/ shifts as and when required by supervisor.

• The job responsibilities are not limited to the above and additional tasks may be assigned from time

to time as demand for the operational requirements.
