Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Monitor swimming areas to ensure guest safety at all times
Identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, or swimmers in distress and respond immediately
Apply appropriate rescue techniques and provide first response assistance when required
Assist injured guests until emergency medical services arrive
Enforce pool rules and promote safe use of recreation facilities
Maintain a welcoming and calm poolside environment for guests
Handle towels according to procedures including distribution, folding, and storage
Clean and maintain pool decks and surrounding areas to safety and hygiene standards
Inspect equipment and facilities to identify defects or hazards
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly
Follow safety, security, and operational procedures consistently
Skills Set
- Water safety awareness and rescue readiness
- Emergency response and basic first aid knowledge
- Ability to remain focused in busy environments
- Clear communication with guests and team members
- Professional attitude and teamwork mindset
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent
No prior lifeguard experience required
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
Physically fit to respond quickly, lift equipment, and remain active for extended periods
Alert, responsible, and confident in guest-facing situations
