Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

l. Ensuring that all technical publications held in the HQ RSAF Logistics Technical Library are current and accurate.

D.2. Safeguarding of classified publications as per RSAF security directives.

D.3. Reviewing and checking the Publication Change List (PCL) for changes to publications held in Library.

D.4. Conducting and documenting Annual Inspections and index checks on General Group Publications.

D.5. Conducting and documenting Six Month Inspections and index checks on Primary Group Publications.

D.6. Ensuring that the publication management processes are applied to commercial publications.

D.7. Responsible for correctly filing supplements and changes,

0.8. Ensuring that Form 10-135 is maintained for all in-use publications. D.9. Ensuring that Form 1400-43 is maintained for all in-use publications.

D.IO. Ensuring Publications are filed in alpha/numeric sequence.

D.ll. Ensuring that publications are placed in proper binders and are clearly marked.

D.12. Managing a sign-out record for publications that are physically removed from the immediate area.

Job Requirements:

Qualified to Degree level or equivalent in Publication Management / related field or suitable previous experience is an acceptable alternative.

C.I. Fully conversant with RSAF aircraft maintenance publication management procedures.

C.2. Knowledgeable in the different publication formats provided by multiple vendors (USA, UK, France, Italy etc).

C.3. Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Print on Demand (POD) system and the Security Assistance for Technical Orders Distribution System (SATODS).

C.4. HQ RSAF technical publication management experience is advantageous.

C.5. Have a good command of the English language in both written and verbal communications.

C.6. Network Management experience is advantageous.

C.7. Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
