1-Design, manage, and adapt the system of the library in order to energize and support what other educators and all learners do with the curriculum.

2-Survey the school community to address needs for content and activities related to learning and teaching.

3- Look for the systemic impact of the library.

4-Provide services, support, develop and energize reading, inquiry, multiliteracies, approaches to learning, approaches to teaching, and learner profile attributes.

5-Develop collections that reflect the community s needs and objectives for personal, academic and professional learning, multiliteracies, and language development.

6-Encourage reading for personal enjoyment, with the aim of creating lifelong readers.

7-Develop planning, teaching and learning to the greatest effect on a regular basis.

8-Manage and monitor the need for quiet spaces and time.

9-Ensure the library s services allow for access, inclusion, and diversity.

10-Communicate with other educators about students balance and well-being where need be.

11-Help students develop their own identity and agency.

12-Provide multiliteracy resources that expand beyond academic areas into other aspects of learners life.

13-Actively engage in professional inquiry (PLC, action research, workshops, study groups, critical friends, data teams ) with the aim of continually reflecting upon practices and improving learning for all students.

14-Reflect by examining beliefs about professional duties in order to conduct self with integrity and transparency, connect and build learning communities, and respect and promote organizational, local, and global cultures.
