Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to legal teams, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems for legal documents, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate the smooth flow of information and documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of legal filings, court documents, and regulatory paperwork.
  • Track deadlines, court dates, and deliverables to ensure timely completion of legal tasks and obligations.
  • Conduct basic legal research and gather relevant information to support attorneys and legal staff.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, responding to inquiries or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and billing documentation related to legal services.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new legal administrative staff as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in administration, legal studies, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a legal administrative assistant or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in office software, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced office setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
